The Midwest
I have often times wondered how a larger tree would be left to grow amongst the miles and miles of corn and soy bean fields? Did the farmer 2 generations ago know that he was going to need some shade to rest and eat his lunch planting and harvesting? Or is there some other random reason for one loan tree to be in the middle of farm fields?
